Statement of Beliefs

God
God the Father is supreme over all. His Son Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) was with Him at Creation, and the Father created everything that exists through the Son (John 1:1-3). Yeshua / Jesus, though also God, follows the will of His Father and is of one mind and one spirit with His Father (John 10:30; 6:38). The Holy Spirit is not a separate being; it's who and what God is. God is spirit, and His Spirit is holy.

God the Father sent His Son to die for us and to atone for our sins, so that we might have eternal life (John 3:16). God's ultimate purpose is bring mankind into His family, to be one with Him (John 17:20-23). Man's destiny is to become one with God and to be part of the God family!

Repent, Be Baptized, and Receive the Holy Spirit
When one accepts Jesus' sacrifice, the next steps are to repent, be baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). Repentance means to turn from our sins, to "go and sin no more" (John 8:11), that is, to forsake our old, sinful way of life. It means resolving to obey God and His righteous laws.

Repentance is followed by baptism. One must be completely immersed, and his or her sins will be washed away (1 Cor. 6:11; Heb. 10:22). Baptism represents a new birth; we become "newborn babes" in a new way of life (1 Pet. 2:2).

Baptism is followed by the laying on of hands and receiving the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:17; Heb. 6:2). The Holy Spirit is the helper that enables us to understand God's Word, to overcome our sins, and to have a relationship with the Father (John 14:26; 15:26). "If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His" (Rom. 8:9).

The Resurrections and Eras of Salvation
God's plan consists of three eras of salvation. During this 6,000-odd years that God has given man on this earth, He is only preparing a select few to be firstfruits and priests in His Kingdom (Mat. 7:14; Rev. 14:4; 20:6). These are symbolized by the priests under the Old Covenant.

During the Millennial Reign of Christ, He and His saints will teach His ways to all those who survive the Great Tribulation (Isa. 30:21; 66:19). These are symbolized by the Levites under the Old Covenant.

All these, together with Yeshua/Jesus, will in turn teach God's ways to the rest of humanity, who will be resurrected in the second resurrection (Rev. 20:11-15). At this time, all mankind will be taught God's ways and have a chance to accept or reject Him. Those who reject Him will be cast into the lake of fire and destroyed (Rev. 20:15); those who accept Him will inherit eternal life.

Following this final judgment, God will establish a new heavens and a new earth (Isa. 65:17; Rev. 21:1-4), and we will dwell with Him in righteousness and glory forever, as outlined in the last two chapters of Revelation.

The Sabbath

From the beginning of creation God appointed the seventh day as the Sabbath, a holy day of rest for man (Genesis 2:3). The Sabbath is a sign between God and his people (Exodus 31:13). We are commanded to rest from all of our labor (Exodus 20:10).

The Sabbath is the day when Jesus (Yeshua) was raised from the dead, and when the future resurrections will occur.

The Calendar

We believe that the Hebrew calendar is inspired by God and accurately shows when we are to keep His appointed times.

God's Law

God's law is in effect today, as it has been throughout history. Jesus did not come to abolish the law or the prophets (Matt. 5:17-18). God requires us to observe the Sabbath, holy days, clean and unclean meats, and laws of morality.

The Holy Days

The seven annual Holy Days listed in Lev. 23 (Passover/First Day of Unleavened Bread, Last Day of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Day of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day) reveal God's plan for mankind in fascinating detail, beginning with Passover in the spring, through the Last Great Day in the fall.

Passover

Under the Old Covenant, God's people sacrificed the Passover lambs on the 14th day of the first month "between the two evenings" (mid-afternoon), as we see in Ex. 12, Lev. 23:5-6, and Deut. 16:1-8. They then ate the lambs that night, on the 15th (Ex. 12:8). The Passover sacrifices pointed ahead to when "Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us" (1 Cor. 5:7).

Under the New Covenant, Jesus (Yeshua) perfectly fulfilled the Passover sacrifice, "as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (1 Pet. 1:19). Like the Passover lambs in the Old Testament, He died on the 14th day of the first month at mid-afternoon, the 9th hour. Just as one ate the Passover lamb on the night of the 15th, after its death on the 14th, so we also partake of Christ's body on the night of the 15th, after His death on the 14th. This is when we partake of the bread and the wine in memory of His death, just as He instructed (Luke 22:19; 1 Cor. 11:24-26).

Passover is about our repentance and covenant with God. We promise to walk in His ways and He promises to cover our sins with His blood to make atonement for our souls (Lev 17:11).

Days of Unleavened Bread

The Days of Unleavened Bread, also called the Feast of Passover (Ezek. 45:21; Luke 22:1), last for 7 days.  Unleavened bread is commanded to be eaten 7 days beginning with Passover. (Lev 16:3). The Days of Unleavened Bread begin on the 15th day of the first month and go through the 21st day of the first month.

It pictures our baptism and walking in newness of life-- having been born again, not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible seed (1 Cor 5:6-8; Rom 6:1-13; 1 Pet 1:23).

The Israelites were symbolically baptized in the Red Sea after leaving Egypt (1Cor 10:1-2).

Pentecost

The count for Pentecost begins on the day after the annual Sabbath. We are to count 50 days from the day after the first Holy Day (Passover) and we arrive at Sivan 6 (on the Hebrew calendar).

On Pentecost, the Israelites received God's law at Mount Sinai. It is also when God poured out His Spirit on those who were gathered together at Jerusalem as instructed (Acts 1:4,5 ; 2:1-4,17-18,33,38-39).

Pentecost represents when God (through His Holy Spirit) gives us the help we need to obey Him and overcome sin (Eze 11:19-20).

Day of Trumpets

This is the first of the Holy Days in the Sabbath month (the 7th month).  It is observed on the 1st day of the 7th month.

Trumpets is when the first resurrection occurs (1 Cor 15:52) and the bride of Messiah enters the heavenly tabernacle (Matt 25:31; Rev 14:1-4; 1 Thes 4:13-17).

Gods wrath will be poured out upon the earth (Rev 11:15-18).

Day of Atonement

The Day of Atonement is observed on the 10th day of the 7th month.

In the Old Testament, on the day of Atonement, one goat was slain (representing Jesus's Passover sacrifice) and one was banished after all the sins of the children of Israel were placed on its head (Lev 16:15, 20-22). The fulfillment will be when Satan is bound for 1,000 years (Rev 20:1-3) and Messiah and His Bride will reign from Jerusalem (Rev 20:4-6).

On the 10th day of the first month, Jesus (Yeshua) rode into Jerusalem on a young donkey (Jn 12:1, 12-15). The second time He comes He will be on a white horse and will come to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords over those who have lived through the great tribulation (Rev 19:11-16).

Feast of Tabernacles

The Feast of Tabernacles (or temporary dwellings) is a seven day feast beginning on the 15th day of the 7th month and going through the 21st day of the seventh month.

The second resurrection will occur on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles. Those who have never truly been taught God's way will have the opportunity to learn God's way during this time (Eze 37:1-14).

It is a time of temporary (physical) dwellings. This time will most likely last 100 years (Isa 65:20).

Last Great Day

The Last Great Day follows right on the heels of the Feast of Tabernacles and is on the 22nd day of the 7th month.  It is the culmination of God's whole plan for mankind.

This shows the end of all physical things (Rev 21:1) coming right after the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles. There will be a new heaven and new earth (2 Pet 3:10; Rev 21:1). There will be no more pain, death, or sorrow (Rev 21:4). There will be no more physical-- all will be Spirit (2 Pet 3:11-12).

God the Father and the Lamb shall dwell in the midst of His people. They shall serve Him and see His face. His name shall be on their foreheads and they shall reign forever and ever (Rev. 22:1-5; 21:22-27; 21:6-7, 3). We will inherit all things and God Himself will dwell with us and be our God and we will be His son!

The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel

The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel are today represented by the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and many of the nations of western Europe. As such, these nations play a huge role in Bible prophecy. In the Bible, these nations represent the House of Israel, while the Jews represent the House of Judah.
